    Dear Chetan,
    B.Tech is a graduation, you have to complete Master or post Graduation level and then M.Phil is also a step, ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY:
    A candidate is eligible for Admission and Registration for Ph.D. programme provided he/ she has qualified:
    Masters Degree of any recognised University/other qualification in a relevant field. The minimum qualifying marks are 55% at Post Graduation level (Relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Differently-Able and other categories. )

    Hello,
    Yes, after competing of your B.Tech, you can go for Ph.D or M.Sc or dual degree courses. For that you have to appear in IIT JAM. IIT JAM is to take admission in M. Sc, Ph.D and other post graduate exams.
    By qualifying JAM test, candidates can apply for:
    1) M. Sc.
    2) Joint M.Sc - Ph.D.
    3) M.Sc - Ph.D dual degree.
    4) M.Sc, M.Tech.
    5) Post bachelor degree courses at different IITs.
    6) Integrated Ph.D courses at IISC.
