No, PhD course can be pursued after completing M.Tech in ECE from recognised universities. Candidates also need to clear Research Entrance Test and Interview in order to secure admission in PhD course. Some of the colleges are as follows:
- VIT Vellore
- NIT Surathkal
- Chandigarh University
- Lovely Profession
