Mass Communication and Journalism is a 3-year course pursued after the successful completion of the 10+2 level (any stream) or equivalent from a recognized educational Board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The course focuses on ideas and outlets of mass communication such as media production, cultural issues, communication theories, regulations, and media techniques stream. Applicants from any discipline may apply-B. Arts, B. Commerce, B. Science, B.Sc IT, BAFT, B. M. BMS, Engineering, B Tech, MBA, Hotel Management, etc. i.e any student who would have completed their graduation (12+3) from a recognized Indian University.

10+2 is the basic qualification for pursuing most of the PR and journalism courses. There are certificate courses which don't have credibility. I would not advise you to go for those certificate courses.
