    10+2 is the basic qualification for pursuing most of the PR and journalism courses. There are certificate courses which don't have credibility. I would not advise you to go for those certificate courses.

    Mass Communication and Journalism is a 3-year course pursued after the successful completion of the 10+2 level (any stream) or equivalent from a recognized educational Board with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The course focuses on ideas and outlets of mass communication such as media production, cultural issues, communication theories, regulations, and media techniques stream. The course generally provides teaching and training regarding reporting, writing, editing, photographing etc. Students can opt.     Applicants from any discipline may apply-B. Arts, B. Commerce, B. Science, B.Sc IT, BAFT, B. M. BMS, Engineering, B Tech, MBA, Hotel Management, etc. i.e any student who would have completed their graduation (12+3) from a recognized Indian University.
