yes you can go for it as there are no barriers between streams

Btech Requires Science/Maths in 12th.But don't depress you can take admission in polytechnic college in diploma in engineering.u can take admission in one of the branches like btech have,Aftr completion of your diploma you can take admission in B.tech second year in any engineering college.

well yes you can pursue a Software engineer if you have a compulsory subject computer Science on application in your hs 10+2 level..
