Can I pursue two courses at the same time: one from regular and other from open mode?

As far as I know, it is not allowed and there are chances that any of your degrees can get rejected. However, at the same time, there are many students who are doing this. So, it's risky but common. One can take a risk, but it is highly not recommended.
