Can I put black thumb impression on the NEET admit card?

<p>Candidates have to put their left-hand thumb impression on the NEET admit card in the space provided. The thumb impression have to be put on the space provided before reaching the exam hall. NTA has not given any instruction regarding the colour of the ink, hence, if a candidate wishes to put the thumb impression with black ink, he/she can do that. However, test-takers must ensure that the thumb impression is put properly on the NEET admit card and it should match the one uploaded in the application form. Moreover, the ink should not be smudged and the impression of the thumb should not be placed anywhere else on the document except the space provided. Also, candidates must ensure that they put their own thumb impression and not anyone else's. In case there is a difference and NTA finds out about this malpractice, the candidate may be disqualified in NEET and he/she would not be eligible to take part in the counselling process even if they qualify for the exam.</p>
