Can I repeat my 1st year with other subject in any way? Can i change my college ?

I enrolled myself in Maths Hons in Calcutta University and I am in first year. It is almost more than a semester since the classes and I am finding myself very uncomfortable with the subject and the course. I want to repeat my first year and start afresh.

    Hi Pratibha,
    If you are studying in the 1st year of engineering course and want to change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering i.e in the 2nd year then you can change the branch in 2nd year if your CGPA in the first year is minimum 8.5 or above and there are no backlog in any paper of 1st year. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you can change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering.
