Can I restart recording my response in PTE Speaking Read Aloud?

The Retell Lecture PTE assesses the speaking and listening skills of test takers along with their oral fluency and pronunciation. Though used in this task for reading instructions, your scores do not get affected by your reading skills. 

Yes. Retell Lecture PTE undergoes partial credit scoring. However, it must be noted that you don't get any score for recording no response or giving and original or irrelevant response.  

No. The PTE Speaking Read Aloud assesses only and only the speaking skills of the test takers. You get 30-40 seconds to read the prompt and prepare for recording. After this time ends, you will hear a short time on your headphones and the mic will start recording. 

PTE exam result can be shared with as many universities as you want. You will be needed to login on your "My PTE" portal, go to "My Activities" section and select the PTE result that you wish to share with university of yout choice. PTE results come out within 48 hours of taking exam. In some exceptional conditions, your result may be announced in 2-5 days and you will receive an email from Pearson whenever your result will be ready and available to share with the universities.
