Can I retake DCET exam, or do I need to go for readmission for lateral entry in the same University?

Then I could not pay fee due to financial hardship and I discontinued in the 3rd year. Now I'm willing to continue my studies. I have completed Diploma in ECE. I have DCET rank of 1980 in the year 2018. I joined an engineering University in the year 2019 via lateral entry under management quota.

The Karnataka DCET examination is conducted for admission to 2nd or 3rd-semester engineering under lateral courses, and its scorecard is valid for only the current year. If you want to be admitted to the same university under the management quota, then there is no need to give the DCET exam again. For more DCET exam details, you may visit the Shiksha DCET exam page. (https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/dcet-exam). I hope this will help you.
