Can I revert to my previous seat after being allocated a higher-preference seat in JoSAA counselling?

NO. Once you are allocated a seat of higher preference based on your float/slide option, your accepted seat from the earlier JoSAA counselling round will be automatically cancelled and you cannot get the previously allotted seat.
