If your primary goal is DRDO, then do engineering from wherever you want. Because government jobs require an exam to beat and qualify, so your college won't matter much in this regard. So, choose a college that has good faculty and their study environment is good. Only these features will help you in achieving your goal.

    Hi Kodimudi,
It's all about you. How much talent you have in you and how much interest you have in engineering. Moreover, you just need to score well and crack the entrance for DRDO. Any engineering graduate from any college can join DRDO if he/she has potential. So, just try to get the knowledge from a good institution. You can go for it without any doubt.
