Furthermore, CUET-PG will be the basis for admission to DU-PG. As far as Delhi University, DU is concerned, candidates must appear in the CUET Examination. If by any chance, they failed to do so, they can't get admission in DU as the former focuses on CUET results for admissions.

To know more about CUET, refer to the official website.

Unfortunately, if you didn't apply for CUET (Common University Entrance Test) this year, it will be difficult to secure admission to undergraduate programs in Delhi University (DU) for the 2024 academic session. CUET scores are mandatory for admission to all DU undergraduate programs.

However, there might be a couple of alternatives to consider:

    • DU SOL (School of Open Learning): DU SOL offers undergraduate programs through open learning mode. While not requiring CUET scores, SOL programs have separate entrance ex

Yes, you can still get admission to Delhi University even if you didn't apply for CUET. However, your chances of getting admission will be much lower. Here are some of the ways you can get admission to Delhi University without CUET:
    1. Take a chance on the spot admission: You can try your luck at the spot admission process, which is conducted by Delhi University after the CUET results are announced. However, the number of seats available under the spot admission process is very limited, so your chances of getting admission are slim.
    2. Apply for admission through the Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL): The Delhi University S

Both IPU and DU are public/ government universities and are one of the oldest universities. DU admissions are tough because of the high cutoff for some colleges, whereas for IPU, admissions are comparatively easy for some colleges with low cut-offs. The infrastructure of colleges affiliated with IPU is comparatively better than that affiliated with DU. The fee is another factor that makes DU a preference among students. In the end, it depends on the students, which university is better for them.
