Can I study B.Tech (computer science) as I have failed in chemistry in my 12th Board exams?

I have passed my 12th board (West Bengal Counsel of Higher Secondary Education) this year. But, I have failed in Chemistry (Theory). I have to sit for WBJEE. Can I study B.Tech (computer science).

In B-Tech, only 1st year deals with PCM like subjects and right from 2nd year its completely different thing. So, you can pursue CS in B.Tech.

But Sir, most of the colleges are saying that they need candidates who has 45% marks in PCM and as you know WBCHSE has introduced a new rule back 2014 of 6th subjects. So, can I still apply for B.tech as I have got N.A. Chemistry?

Dear Student Computer Science is not all about mathematics. If u are interested in computer Science just go for it. Mainly technical subjects are important than mathematics in Computer Science.

Yes you can but you must pass your 12th with 60% marks and then qualify for engineering college.
