Can I study BSc Biochemistry (Honours/Research) now and go for PhD in Stem cell technology and cancer biology later?

Biochemistry is a three-year undergraduate programme with a specialisation in the inter-disciplinary domain of biochemistry.&nbsp;The minimum eligibility criterion which most of the institutes ask for is a score of at least 50% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 or equivalent level.</p><p>B.Sc (Hons.) Biochemistry course admission is based on entrance exam namely Common Entrance Test (CET) including the selection method as well as merit-based selection criterion that is the percentage of marks obtained at 10+2 or equivalent level by the candidate. Colleges and Institutes which provide admission through CET mechanism rely on the score of all-India level common entrance exams like, CG PAT, NET, etc. while some of them opt for a separate entrance exam of their own (like GB Pant University, GSAT, etc.).</p><p>The Cancer Biology and Cancer Stem Cells Program is focused on investigating the mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in the development and progression of cancer, including pathways critical for self-renewal of stem cells, in normal tissues and in cancer.
