Can I study in MSU without IELTS/TOEFL score?

<p>Mississippi State University's admission requirements for international students comprise of proof of proficiency in the English language as a major entry requirement. However, students can study in MSU without ELP scores if they meet at least one of the criteria listed below:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/act">ACT</a> score: 19 or higher in the English section; OR</li><li><a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/sat">SAT</a> score: 510 or higher in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section.</li></ul><p>If the overseas applicants do not meet the standardized test scores requirements listed above, they will have to submit their&nbsp;<a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/ielts">IELTS</a>/<a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/toefl">TOEFL</a> scores. Also, if they meet all other requirements except the ELP scores, they may be admitted but will be required to enroll in English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. Students who successfully complete the English as a Second Language programme will be considered to have demonstrated English language proficiency and be allowed to register in academic courses offered through the colleges.</p>
