Southern Illinois University Edwardsville admission requirements for international students include English proficiency exam score requirements. However, there are other ways in which overseas applicants can meet the SIUE language requirements and they are:

A degree from a primarily English-speaking country; OR
Standardized test scores; OR
Successful completion of the SIUE Intensive English Pathway program; OR
Academic records.

Students are eligible for the SIUE Intensive English Pathway programme if they meet the following score requirements:

TOEFL: 5.0 (no band below 5.5);
TOEFL: 45;
ACT: English Test: 80.
