Yes, you can switch from mechanical to CS after the first year. The criteria is, for CS branch, seats should be available. The second condition is that you should meet the cut-off of the college. Hope this will help you. Best of luck.

Yes, you can switch the branch from mechanical to CSE. If there is a seat available in for CSE branch and you should have a good score in the 1st year.
