Can I take a admission in engineering this year on the basis of previous year's JEE Mains marks?

No, you can't take admission this year with the marks of last year JEE examination because the score of JEE is only valid for 1 year and since this is the 2nd year so you are not eligible to take admission with previous year marks. Try to get admission in private college with your 12th marks examination via counselling rounds.
