<p>No, Army Institute of Technology offers entrance-based admission to BTech. Candidates are required to apply and appear for JEE Main exam to get admission to BTech. After filling out the eligibility criteria candidates are required to apply on the official website of the university. After all the procedures the university releases its merit list. If the candidates are shortlisted on merit they are required to pay the admission fee to lock their final seats.</p>

<p>Admission to the B.Tech programs at AIT Pune is based solely on the JEE Main exam score and rank. There is no other way to get admitted without qualifying JEE Main. AIT Pune only offers admission to wards/children of army personnel. However, even for army wards, JEE Main qualification is mandatory for B.Tech admission. The JEE Main cutoff for AIT Pune B.Tech admission is around 1.1 Lacs rank. Candidates need to apply through both the JEE Main application and the separate AIT Pune application to be considered for admission.</p>
