Admission to the B.Tech programs at AIT Pune is based solely on the JEE Main exam score and rank. There is no other way to get admitted without qualifying JEE Main. AIT Pune only offers admission to wards/children of army personnel. However, even for army wards, JEE Main qualification is mandatory for B.Tech admission. The JEE Main cutoff for AIT Pune B.Tech admission is around 1.1 Lacs rank. Candidates need to apply through both the JEE Main application and the separate AIT Pune application to be considered for admission.

No, Army Institute of Technology offers entrance-based admission to BTech. Candidates are required to apply and appear for JEE Main exam to get admission to BTech. After filling out the eligibility criteria candidates are required to apply on the official website of the university. After all the procedures the university releases its merit list. If the candidates are shortlisted on merit they are required to pay the admission fee to lock their final seats.

Admissions to the BTech course are based on the JEE Main and MHT CET entrance exams. Yes, admissions are possible without JEE Mains. Students must secure good scores in the MHT CET entrance exams. Prepare well in advance. Those who have missed the MHT CET exams must not worry, these candidates can apply again the next year.

No, candidates cannot take admission to the Army Institute of Technology for the BTech programme without the JEE Main Entrance Exam. AIT admission is based on the All India Rank (AIR) obtained in the JEE Main exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam. AIT also considers the MHT-CET exam for admission to BTech programmes. The institute gives additional weightage to the marks of the wards of disabled soldiers, war widows, and gallantry award winners. To be eligible for admission to AIT:

    • The candidate must have passed the 10+2 CBSE or ISC exam with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
