    No, If you have to do engineering then Maths must be there in any branch of engineering.

    Eligibility Criteria for admission in B.Tech in Food Technology. Students must have cleared 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from any board with an aggregate of more than 50% of the marks in exams. Students must have taken Physics Chemistry and Maths as the major subjects in class 12th.

    The eligibility criteria of LPU for B.Tech Food Technology is given for an idea. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) : Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Chemistry English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. So Mathematics is not Mandatory in LPU for B.Tech FT admission.
