Admission to the NIDs is conducted in a two-stage process. The candidate has to first appear in DAT Prelims. In the 2nd stage, shortlisted candidates have to appear in the DAT Mains exam.
While the mains of NID DAT 2023 for M. Des will be held from March 20 to April 23, 2023 , in HYBRID mode. For B. Des, the studio test will be conducted from April 29 to 30, 2023. -
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and General Proficiency Test (GPT) conducted by the institute. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on marks/ score obtained in DAT and GPT. Candidates are selected based on DAT, GPT scores and performance in personal interview. Interested candidates can apply online with the required information.
