The modes of Indian Institute of Management Lucknow course admissions are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams at IIM Lucknow are GMAT GATE CAT GRE and CSIR NET. Hence without the CUET UG exam, admissions are possible at IIM Lucknow.

For admission to the MBA programme, a valid score in CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT / CMAT / NMAT is essential. Academic achievement, Statement of purpose are also preferred for admission in M.A. M.Des M.A. M.Sc. , Master of Interior Design, and Ph.D. /M.Phil programs. Admission in BBA B.Sc. B.A. B. Des, and Bachelor of Interior Design is based on the interview conducted by the Institute. Admission to law courses is based on entrance test conducted by the University. Also, the university has started taking CUET score for admission into various courses.
