Can I take admission in IISc with an SC caste certificate but without the validity certificate?

  • No, although a caste validity certificate might not be specifically needed, IISc normally demands a valid SC certificate for admission.  State and category-specific criteria, however, differ.  To prevent problems during the admissions process, it is best to check with the admissions office at IISc.
