Can I take admission in IITs or NITs after completing my Diploma?

You cannot take admission directly. For NIT, you have to attempt JEE main exam for entrance where you should score good marks whether For IIT you need to attempt both JEE main and JEE Advanced. If you clear JEE main cut off then only you will be eligible to take JEE advance exam. Hope this helps you

Yes, you can. The process is same as that of a plus two student. Write the JEE and get a good rank. You will study one particular topic in Diploma, when coming to JEE the situation is different so there you need all the subjects. And at the same time you will lose one year compared to all the other
