Addressing your query, I inquired from the counsellors of LPU who told the eligibility for taking admission in B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. 3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc.
4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5. Board Toppers
6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents

LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Since you have scored less than 90 percent in 12th class, you have to attempt LPU-NEST examination and qualify in it in order to get admission into LPU. All the best.

You can take admission subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria which is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or JEE Main (74 marks). Or
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPU-NEST or JEE Main will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Check the link below

Assuming you are from general, you don't have to clear the cutoff for Mains, hence you need to give LPU-NEST and crack it. Also, you need around 200 marks out of 400 to be able to get CSE in it. Best of luck.
