Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. If the eligibility says subject to qualifying LPU NEST then you have to clear the entrance exam. In addition to qualifying it also provides you a good amount of scholarship if you score well. In case the eligibility of the programme says Pass or only states some percentage criteria, only then LPU NEST will not be a mandate to qualify. Still in this case, candidate has an option to appear for LPU NEST just for the sake of scholarship purpose. As LPU NEST is a short of Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship test. In my opinion a candidate should appear for this exam even if it is not mandatory, reason behind that is, there is a chance that you can avail a good scholarship.

Hi there, if you have not qualified any national test, then do not worry. LPU conducts its own entrance exam LPU NEST. The syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification? In addition to it, there are also questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. The application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get the test altered and can avail a second chance as well.
