    Hello!
It is impossible to get admission into a good college without giving CAT (or another relevant exam) since admission there is given purely on merit basis. One needs to score well in those exams and clear the interview rounds (if shortlisted for them).

Yes, you can take admission without giving the CAT exam but it will create some damage while sitting in the placement. You can take admission by another entrance exam like MAT CMAT and other. Most of the MBA college give more weight to CAT applicants.

If you aren't giving CAT then you need to give some other entrance exams like CMAT, MAT, NMAT or SNAP. Without any entrance exams, you wouldn't be able to get a call from a good B-School.
    Good luck.

Yes, you can take admission without CAT but you need to give another competitive exams like MAT, GMAT, XAT, ATMA, etc. But if you want to go for tier 1 colleges go for CAT and do well.
    All the best.

Yes, CAT is an important exam to get into IIMs for MBA. Its the only exam to get into MBA course for IIMs. IIMs gives weightage to 10-12th percentage + CAT percentile + What/PI performance + any work experience for selecting a candidate. There are many other colleges which consider CAT scores to offer admissions. Check the below link-

Yes, you can take admission without CAT exam. But for some good college, you have to give entrance exam which depends on which university or college you are targeting for admission. Some private college will provide you admission on the basis of your past academic record.
