Can I take class 12th board exam and appear for JEE Mains in 2018?

I had to appear for class 12th board exam in 2016 but due to some reason I failed to do so.

You can do it. Try to score higher than 75% or try to be in top 20 percentile. Any of the two is acceptable.

Yes, you can, but the condition, is you will have to get 75% marks in class 12th, because this is the eligibility criteria for JEE main. Only 75% students are take the JEE Mains exams.
