Hello,
To appear in the UGC NET Exam you must fulfill the required eligibility criteria. Here you can check the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2019 -
Post-graduation with the minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Relaxation is also available for reserved categories. There is no age limit to appear in the UGC NET Exam for the post of Assistant Professor. But if you are going to appear in NET Exam for JRF then the maximum age limit is 30 years. Master's Degree holders with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved candidates) can register for the exam. Students in the final year of master's programme or waiting for its result can also apply for the exam. Ph.D. degree holders who completed their Master's degree before September 19, 1991 are given relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks. Applicants must not be more than 30 years of age as on December 1, 2019 to apply for Junior Research Fellowship. SC, ST, OBC, PWD, Transgender and Women candidates are given an age relaxation of up to 5 years. This is the criteria for UGC NET exam.
