All undergraduate students at Fitchburg State are eligible to take part in an internship. However, graduate students have to check if their particular programme provides this option or not. The university makes available 3 types of internships for UG students and these are:
- Required for credit-internships: integrated into some majors
- Optional (but recommended) for some credits: These are possible within certain UG programs
- Experience internships: Non-credit internships that are managed through CSA
