Can I take the admission directly in 2nd year in industrial design?

Asked about Industrial Design Centre - IIT Bombay - Bachelor of Design (B.Des.)

I have done 1st year B.Des from DYPDC centre for automotive research and studies but due to financial problem, I couldn't continue. I have done 12th in science and have learnt workshop, photoshop, ideation sketching problem solving methods and much more.

    Hi Shubham,
    The Designing Courses are Skill Based Programs. So they should not be treated like any other regular UG courses.
    So you should study 1st year as well to learn the basics. Even if you did 1st from another college.
    I do not think lateral entry in any Design School Possible.
    Think again and restart.
