Yes, International students on a study permit can work off-campus in Canada, without holding a work-permit, provided they satisfy the requirements mentioned below:
- Must be a full-time student at a designated learning institute (DLI)
- Must be enrolled in either a post-secondary, vocational or professional training programme or a secondary-level vocational training program
- Must be enrolled in a course that is atleast 6 months long & results in a degree, Diploma or certificate
- The course you have enrolled in, must have begun
- Must have a Social Security Number (SSN)
