International students can work part-time only for a total of 964 hours, which corresponds to 60% of the normal working hours in France. However, the French government suggests that working part-time will not be sufficient to cover the living expenses in France and students must consider it as a secondary source of income only and not completely rely on it to cover their living expenses.
