Yes, Charles Darwin University allows international students with a visa to work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight or 20 hours per week while studying in the university when their course is in session. However, during official study breaks and holidays, students can work as much as they want. Students of CDU must note that summer semester isn’t compulsory for most courses, so if they're not enrolled in any units, they can work unlimited hours then too. However, if summer semester is compulsory for their course, students can work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight during the trimester.
