    Hello,
There is no age limit in UGC NET Exam but for JRF the upper age limit is 30 years. You can appear in UGC NET Exam at the age of 18 years, but you must have a post-graduation degree with minimum % criteria. You can check the complete UGC NET Eligibility Criteria https://scoop.eduncle.com/ugc-net-exam-eligibility here.

    Hello,
Candidates with Commerce, Arts and Humanities subject can pursue lectureship programme with the help of UGC NET exam.
The exam is going to be conducted on 8th July 2018,m whereas, the applications would begin from 6th March. UGC has made changes in the exam pattern in 2018.
Now, there would be only two papers:
UGC NET Paper 1 and UGC NET Paper 2.
If you have completed your post graduation in commerce, arts or humanities, you can get UGC scholarships worth INR 25000 by qualifying the UGC entrance exam.

    Hello Shreya,
There is no minimum age criteria for applying in NET exam but upper age should not be more than 30 years. You should have your post graduation degree with minimum 55% (for general category). It is not possible to take post graduation degree at the age of 18. Therefore, you must complete your post graduation before applying.

The candidates who are applying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship must not age more than 30 years. There's no such upper age limit criteria for Assistant Professors. However, 5 years age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC, PWD and Women Applicants.
