Hello, There is no age limit in UGC NET Exam but for JRF the upper age limit is 30 years. You can appear in UGC NET Exam at the age of 18 years, but you must have a post-graduation degree with minimum % criteria. According to the eligibility criteria under UGC NET a candidate can apply for UGC before or opto for the age of 31. You can write UGC but for that, you must have a master's degree with 55% marks and a Graduate degree.

Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET Exam. As per the rules set by the UGC there is upper age limit for JRF I. e. 30 years and 5 years relaxation is given to ST/SC/PwD/OBC/Transgender category candidates. The candidates who are applying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship must not age more than 30 years. There's no such upper age limit criteria for Assistant Professors. However, 5 years age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to OBC, ST, SC, PWD and Women Applicants.
