Yes, overseas students pursuing higher education in France are allowed to do part-time jobs, provided they fulfil the set conditions. They can pick up employment and work for a maximum of 964 hours every year (20 hours per week) during term time and full-time during vacations. In order to be considered eligible for part-time work, students should be holding a valid student visa as well as a residence permit. Please keep in mind that searching for a job in France can be a bit difficult as many employers require individuals who know French.
