Yes, international students are allowed to do part-time work while studying in Canada. However, there is a cap on the number of hours a student can work per week. International students can work up to 24 hours per week, meanwhile, it is recommended to work only 15 hours a week to not affect your studies. You can work as a waiter or cashier in a restaurant or mart. You can even give private tuition in part-time work. The study visa for Canada allows international students to work while studying. This helps to reduce the financial burden and cover other expenses.
