In order to help students earn a little while studying, France permits them to work in the country while studying. French law allows foreign students to work up to 964 hours per year, irrespective of their level of education and the nationality they hold. Keep in mind that those who do not hold the nationality of the European Union need to possess a student resident permit. These overseas students can also work in their respective academic institutions or host institutions.
