Can international students work while studying at Northern College?

<p>Most universities require a student to undergo an internship as a mandatory part of their curriculum for the UG programs. Similarly, Northern College also offers mandatory co-op or internship. Students enrolled in such programs are not only allowed but required to intern while studying to complete their degree. International students coming on a study visa that allows them to work in Canada are eligible to find part-time working options while studying at Northern College. However, aspiring students must be enrolled in full-time programs.</p><p>International students must obtain an internship work permit from their visa embassies along with their study permit for Canada. A work permit from the college is not required for working on the on-campus jobs as long as students have a work permit on their study visa.</p>
