International students holding a student visa are permitted to take up employment while studying in the country. Students can work upto 20 hours every week and the same cannot be a full-time job. Also, your employer will have to get you a work permit from the foreign office. Those who want to do an unpaid internship will only need their student identity card. Students are likely to come across jobs which require them to hold proficiency in Spanish. So it is a good idea to get yourself enrolled into some Spanish language class if your hold on Spanish is not decent.
