Can M.Tech from IIT or NIT contribute to the placements in product based companies? Can I get a high salary package?

Yes, ofcourse but only if you are capable of applicable knowledge and basic skills with a proper stiff.
If no, it may not be possible only in IITs or NITs but also in any other institutes.
