Can MBA be done through online mode? If yes, does it have a good value and can it help to get a good job?
I have completed BCom and want to pursue MBA.

It is called distance mode education. If any institute is UGC and DEC approved, then their distance mode degree is valid for jobs, otherwise not. Symbiosis, JNU. PTU etc. offer distance mode MBA and they have many study centers in various cities, you can check whether it is there in your city or not.
Regular MBA through a good B-school under CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT only have actual value. Distance mode MBA do not have much reputation for private sector MNC companies.
For MBA min eligibility is graduation in any stream with min 50% marks. Any site or institute which claim to give MBA after 12th is fraud.

I suggest you to pursue MBA as a full time course only. Distance Learning does not hold so much value as a full time course. Also, working professional courses are available, however, it could get difficult to manage both work and studies.

Distance learning MBA may be considered for working professionals seeking this qualification for promotion purpose only. Otherwise, regular MBA is always recommended. It adds to your personality apart from your qualification and increases your employability.

8 years agoWe can't say whether a particular mode is good or bad.We will have to check whether we are moving in the right track. By distance Mode also, you can do well provided you have a clear vision.You have to go single-minded to get best out of any Mode-distance or regular.
