Certification course are compulsory for UG students but not for PG students. If you are studying in main campus I think you can apply for it. But, I believe you will not get any time to take up any extra certification course during MBA program.

For certifications just look for those ones which are in line with your specializations. Certifications make your CV more powerful and impresses the recruiters.
