Can my daughter get admission for B.Des in NID Ahmedabad? She is pursuing her 11th (MPC) in Hyderabad.
She is interested in Artificial Intelligence.

Yes your daughter can apply for it. Candidates may apply for the academic year 2022,23 if they passed or will take the higher secondary (11,12) qualifying examinations in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities, etc. ). From any recognised educational board, such as the CBSE, IB, ICSE or equivalent, during the academic year 2021,22.

Yes, now our education policies have changed. Your daughter can get admission for B.Des in NID Ahmedabad.

If she is interested in Artificial Intelligence, then plan for JEE Main because she needs to do B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning. Otherwise NID Ahmedabad is offering B. Des courses in the following specializations as under.
1. Film and Video Communication
2. Exhibition design
3. Animation film design
4. Graphic design
5. Ceramic and Glass Design
6. Furniture and Interior design
7. Product design
8. Textile design
Further she will be eligible for NID in next year while giving the 12th board exams.
