Congratulations for a good score in 12th, But the privilege of getting direct admission and the highest scholarship in B.Tech is for the students who score 90% or above in 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English as compulsory subjects. Some great points which make LPU a top choice are as follows:
Huge diversity of students and faculty. The sheer number of people from different states and countries with highly competitive environment helps the students in getting used to work in cross cultural environment and team work, which is desired skill set in many companies. Hackathons, competitions and events keep on happening throughout the year, w

As per your question it is not clear that in which course you want to take admission. So I am giving the answer irrespective of any course. So basically the admission criterion for getting admission in lpu is 55% in respective boards. As you have mentioned that you have got nearly 90% in CBSE so I think you will not face any problem regarding your admission. Apart from this LPU NEST is basically a Scholarship Exam for getting admission. The marks scored in LPU NEST will help you to get some waiver in the tuition fees. I hope your query is clear. Thank you.

Yes, LPU doesn't have any rule that it is compulsory to give LPU NEST. They take admission directly. But they give scholarship depending upon any one-JEE main percentile, 12th marks or defense background.

Well, your friend scored well in 12th so congrats to him first. LPU NEST plays the role of eligibility and scholarship in courses LPU offers. As you have not mentioned programme name your friend is interested in so it's difficult to answer your query. LPU offers 200+ professional programmes and each programme eligibility and admission criteria are different. I suggest you to ask your friend to explore course details on LPU official website-https://www.lpu.in/
I also come to know admission session 2020 of LPU is ongoing and the last date to apply is 30th November so alert your friend to take a wise decision. For further queries, your fri

In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. So, for majority of the programmes after 12th LPU NEST is not mandatory. So you have to check for the eligibility criteria of your desired programme. Also, LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :-
The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 7

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. For MBA or Law aspirants, you may focus on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, and Current A

In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
