Can my friend study in US after completing his studies from NIOS?
Hi all this is harmeet, one of my friend had a question, he has completed his 12th standard study from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) he is looking forward to apply for USA or CANADA study visa, is NIOS that aproved, will he face any problems in doing this- PLZ if anyone can ans this..

NIOS is a board under Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and same thing is clearly mentioned in marksheet too. The board will be very much recognized by the universities in US and Canada. However, i would recommend your friend to write an email to the admissions department

Please go for graduation from India then move further. Why you are looking for Canada and US?

It should not be a problem. If NIOS is recognized in India and a student can gain college admission based on it, US institutions (most, perhaps not all) will accept it as well.
