Can my son get a good rank in IIT as he scored 245 marks in JEE Mains and 972 marks in class 12th?

The admission in IITs are based on ranks obtained in JEE Advanced conducted among the JEE Main qualifiers. Hence your son have to first appear in JEE Advanced for getting admission in IITs. Further 12th marks of your son are good enough and meeting the IITs eligibility criteria.
