Earlier HBTI (now became university) took admissions through UPTU but now from this year HBTU is going to take admissions on the basis of JEE Mains marks. And ya one more thing, our new vice chancellor Prof. Vinay Pathak has announced that only UTTAR PRADESH domicile students get admission.
Now if you want to get in HBTU, (mind the U), get somewhere around 130 140.
.If you want to get into core-branches at HBTU, get somewhere around 150160.
If you want to get into computer science at HBTU, get 180+.
If you want fee-waiver seats (presently 3 per branch), get around 200.

    Hello Drsanjay,
From this year, HBTI is taking admission via JEE Mains and we don't get any glimpse of the cut-off but since its a government college so there is a rush in taking admission and which consequently increases the cut-off, so wait till the counselling to have any positive outcome.

HBTI is now a deemed university and it will take admissions on the basis of JEE main marks and not UPSEE marks.
