His general rank is 70799 and OBC category rank 18787.

Sir, The admission is actually based on the category and its cut-off. So, if you refer to the results page, the category wise cut-off will be displayed. But I think this score can get admission in any of the NITs. But if you want to get the good NITs, then you should refer to your category wise cut
